Well I put out some birdseed the other night and this is what I saw when I looked out the window this morning.  When I went to door and peeped out it was crazy. Birds everywhere and a squirel.  It was sweet to see them eating and enjoying themselves

I have been working on my container garden, little at a time. I have tomatoe plant and some herbs I started and not pictured is some lettuce and celery. Well I went out today to give them some luv and saw about 8 new tomatoes, lettuce is growing fuller and celery growing strong. I started lettuce and celery from used uo cores. I placed them in some water and let them root them planted in soil, I did lose two celery but one is hanging on strong.
My herbs I planted seeds and I see they are begining to sprout. I am so pround of them and plan to expand garden to pants and flowers as soon as I can.

Learning Day to Day

There are many days in our life that we will earn their spots in our most memorale moments. Weather it's a happy or sad moment it's there locked in place.  October 29th 2009 is a day that began the battle for my life.

I had a stroke that night, laying on the floor, not knowing what was wrong, I prayed to live. It took another stroke and an MRI to be diagnosed. I had two Wallenberg Strokes at my brainstem. I spent about a week in medical part of hospital and a month in rehab part then on outpatient rehab. I had to relearn how to walk, swallow...to live again.  It wasn't until Christmas of that year that I was able to eat something, soft that is, I didn't care because it was food in my mouth and swallowing not going in that awful feeding tube.

After all my rehab, going from wheelchair to walker to cane and eating through feeding tube to real food I still have perm damage to my balance, vision, sensation, and swallow. I still walk with my cane to help in balance and pain to my left side.  I have diminished sensation to left side body and right side of my head, unable to decern temperatures with these sides. I have dimished vision to right eye and often have to close it to help me focus on something, still have hard time focusing on fine details. My right side is still weak and still can't get that breathing right sometimes.

I was unable to resume my life...placed on disability, had to move in with parents...hours away from my church and work family and friends where to do I to pick up pieces?

After many ups and downs Noah and I moved back on our own close to my parents this past January.  I still learn something new everyday. God has been so amazing through this journey many days he carried me.  I thank him everyday for life!  He is my Lord and Saviour and with him I can do all things for it is him that give me strength!!
